Hmm I see it a little differently. Misaki was very much a M but he didn’t understand it, and he sought that pain that he twisted into pleasure in very unhealthy ways (it wasn’t just Haru’s path he stepped into for a beating). Haru was never really an S, he was instead highly reactive and volatile, with a hair trigger temper that he unleashed at will. But when he saw Misaki’s reaction he got excited by it.
For Haru though, as he matured and as Misaki became important to him, he didn’t want to hurt him anymore. He actually wanted to be tender but Misaki’s M needs were very strong. While Misaki did enjoy the softer side Haru was showing, he was yearning for that pain. So Haru met that need. He quietly researched S&M, they found healthier ways to meet those sexual needs with bondage, clamps, toys etc. Both these guys grew up a lot from reactive young men to much more stable adults with a sex life that suited them as a couple. I also liked that Haru took up boxing but was afraid Misaki would be jealous of the punching bag lol. The teasing was cute.
Well i guess theres a lesson to be learned here, boundaries and safe words are important. Also, fuck Kushiro man hes actually disgusting when you think about it goddamn sexually abusive asshole. Misaki wasnt even a masochist and developed it after getting his ass beat over and over, domestic violence can really wire you different. I really like the artstyle but this whole thing pissed me off. I should've looked at the tags, waste of my goddamn time
