Like ig they really care for each other even if not romantically…dunno) and apparently the wives are made aware of the annual ceremony.

But for Kuro and Kanata’s case…. Theyre not going to be wedded to diff ppl coz for the Ichio family- Kanata’s sister said she’ll be the one to birth the next First born son. While the Inari family ig would do the same so that Kuro and Kanata would stay together even outside the tradition


Tldr: The dads fuck each other annually while married and have children with their respective wives. Kuro and Kanata are TOGETHER TOGETHER coz sister is going to be the one ‘providing’ the next generation first born son

the dads don't need to fuck each other for the ceremony after their son take their places .so if they fuck it's their own decision not because of the ceremony
