Ok ok, I’m pretty sure (it’s been so long since I read it, so I’m pretty fuzzy on the details) but he finds out because he walks in on the brother beating up the fl at like, a party I think? And of course he flips out and it’s this whole big thing that many people witness (I think? I’m so sorry that my memory sucks)

Reminds me of Under the Oak tree when Riftan found Maxi getting beat up by her father and he broke/dislocated her father's jaw in the most satisfying way.
