Right and of it's the "hunting is for men" and "gathering is for women" type of tribe (which i believe it is, considering she had to get apples), then the women would spend a considerable amount of time in the sun gathering enough fruits, nuts, etc for all the members of the tribe to eat and would have some modicum of a tan. They wouldnt be as pale as a ghost.
right, like even I don't go out that much but just from walking to my uni it's enough to give me a strong tan, it's hard to believe that they're pale as hell when they're supposed to be natives
