As a cat lover, this was super fluffy and cute. But yeah, there is no romantic development in this one. It focuses on the supernatural aspects of the world. This is more of a fantasy, drama with a tinge of BL. A bit sad that this doesn't even have any sequel to make the couples official. O'Feuille also seems like he is sticking with Volks because of the promise he made to the late king, it's obviously pretty clear that Volks' feelings are one sided. I was way more invested in the second couple since their feelings seemed mutual.
