I don’t think that she found out that she could take divine power by directly drinking a priest’s blood in the past life, since the necklace was the thing that wanted blood. And mb the necklace was a far more effective way to gain divine power than to drink blood. Or mb she did both, who knows
If the saintess could already absorb the other priests' power then why did she need the necklace in the first place?
Also what if she is like a chimera but she doesn't even know it because she can absorb divine power?
