Agree. He doesn't sympathize with his co workers either, he can't understand fear because he grew up independent and worked hard for himself. He doesn't realize why others would have a problem with his pace. I think the author intentionally made him that way so that the MC and the bullied kid are opposites, they can learn from each other. Lol y'all. When I said mc was victim blaming, I wasn't talking ab his suicide. Ofc if he really did jump infront of someone's car, that's irresponsible and selfish. But I was talking ab the bullying he goes through daily at school. He downplays the anxiety and fear the kid went through. Even one of his workers got mad at how he behaved that way. I'll never understand people who are strong but make fun of someone else who isn't. People have different lives and experiences that shapes who they are. And ik mc will soon realize this. Anyway this was what I meant.
