Some crazy theories that i can think about:
1. They're actually not an NPC but they're just forgot and the one who gain conscious first was Bada.
2. What if they're already know each other in the "real world" but then something happen and it's related to the murder case, like what if.... It's just them trying to save each other but then as they trapped in some kind of time loop, they start to forgot about who they were before cause it's like an after effect to repeated the times.
3. And from the characters to gain "consciousness" they must have a "trigger" moment like when the previous chapter hyung shin saw jae seob died in front of his eye. But the thing is, it has to be repeated a few times cause as far as i can remember, from the previous chapter, he already saw his love interest die before. But now that it's actually not the first time, he started to gain "consciousness" and become "aware"
4. I started to think that maybe they're not really an "NPC" maybe like any other game that have a lot of playable characters?? But maybe cause Bada is the "original" MC that's why any other playable characters aren't yet "opened" or they're still in "locked" mode
5. If we think about it as a game... Then what if they have kinda like a "hidden ending" or "extra ending" or etc?? Something like that?? Then it's gonna be so fucking cool..
6. Started to think that maybe the murderers are related to them. Like that's a probability that it's not just one or two murderer right?? (Well it does kinda irk me when doha kill one of the murder and didn't open the mask but it is what it is i guess hahaha and it's fine for the sake of the story)
7. Idk if u guys know gose (going seventeen, like an variety show for the kpop boygroup seventeen) one episode of gose, it's called "ego" when they're trying to escape from some kind of mental hospital facility. We see it through the POV of them become like some kind of "patients" that trying to figure things out and get out from that "hospital" and then booom the "doctors" that are chasing them are actually themselves and turned out the "patients" are like the doppelganger of them. SO WHAT IF... The "playable characters" are actually like that tho, like what if the murderers are also themselves too?? That's gonna be some sick plot xnjzbjdkd
8. Another thing that i can think of is... Say that know they're already gain "consciousness" and "aware" so that they try to get the fuck out of that game but then baaamm it come real survival, like they have to face the real murderer and there's no reset.
