Yeah I'm HIGHLY aware of the trope lmaoo. I love Kinosaki as much as the next person and I DO think that he and Gero would be cute together. But I also hate seeing shit like "oh I don't want so-and-so to end up with a girl/guy" or "this should've been shounen/shoujo ai" bc lord help me that's when fandoms tend to get REALLY ugly.
