Maybe hes pushed all the love for the youngest onto the second because hes had to push away his newborn
But the second is at least a bit older than our Fleta, so those childhood portraits probably isn't current to when fleta was born. The second was probably around 10 when Fleta was born I think. Fleta looks to be around 7-ish.
The parent's are the absolute worst - I don't think I could ever like them
It is implied that the dad cheats on the empress, treats his own child like trash, favourites his second daughter to a disgusting level and the list goes on
The empress while her feelings are valid is still another adult that has not taking this situation very adultly... It just gives ick overall
