Nah Ian already knows that who ended peter was van he was there when the fire was up and he misunderstands the situation for thinking van hates grays and kills them that's why he was trembling in fear everytime he sees van around and was so shocked when van knew he was gray not one of the civilians so its better to actually clear the misunderstanding
