It is defending their rape pov with a story that has no rape in it.
If the story has no rape. The ones saying it is not rape but SA and abusive are NoT DefEnDiNg rape.

It is rape rape rape with the haters. I am not a rape defender because you have deluded yourself to believe rape is in the story. I am a rape survivor I don’t want anything to do with rape. hi okay cool but how exactly does it make sense if the people defending rape are the haters, they could just be defending rape in general too seeming as its bad enough - i personally believe there is something happening in this manwha with some non-consenual scenes or heck even when dan is forced to which is most of the plot but hes doing it for the money i understand but its still forceful is it not?? jaek knows dan doesnt want to do it yet hes taking always making it extreme and taking it to the next level, whats your thoughts on this?

It makes sense I thought I explained it. You either skipped it or don’t understand. I said pov. Rape pov. My friends would use incest. It is like claiming there is incest in the story. They are defending their incest pov. The ones that can’t be incest defender because there is no incest and it is just someone’s pov. I can’t be an incest defender because of their pov. It is ridiculous. So the ones saying it is Sa and abusive can’t be rape defenders because someone else’s pov. The haters kept attacking me knowing I was a rape survivor. They don’t care. The ones saying it is SA and abusive are the ones that defended me. They are against rape and one is a rape crisis counselor.
There are some genuine people who see rape but they do start looking closer and at all the details. I am not the one to explain. I dropped this story in August and I am going to give it another chance. I just have not worked myself up to it.

yes i agree with you on your take, i do believe that it was non-consensual in the shower scene and i believe if i can recall dan was not up for it at all, i do think 100% that was rape and both sa as you had stated he was rejecting by doing it, thats a great example to pull up!! but yeah, i mean everyone has different opinions and all i want is a civil conversations to those who do project and force their pov on you disregarding your own opinions. but yes, i agree with you definitely

i think if you dont like that the story has rape in it, you should just drop it ? dont put word in others mouth by saying they are defending rape when they are just liking the manhwa and.want others to see that the story is still good despite of the fact that it show awareness to rape.

I dont see anybody defending rape you're right. But you shouldnt lie about the story. It doesnt bring awareness at all i dont know where youre getting this from but having rape in a story doesn't automatically mean you're bringing awareness to it. Mingwa trivialises rape often, if in later chapters she explicitly identifies that it is rape then it doesn't change much because again, this is a love story. Its supposed to be a romance between Dan and Jaekyung. I dont think youre bringing awareness to rape if the rapist and the victim end up together. Dont create some fantasy that this is supposed to bring awareness to the severity of rape, its not. You can enjoy the story without pushing the rhetoric this author has always put into her work.

Rape is SA but SA is not rape, of course they arent SO much better than each other but its best you make a distinction. Sexual assault can be groping someone without their permission but rape is always a forced act of intercourse or penetration, be it oral, vaginal or anal. Sexual Violence is an umbrella term that covers all forms of sexual assault and/or sexual abuse. You can call rape sexual assault because it is a form of sexual assault but rape is more specific to what i said above, a forced act of intercourse or penetration.
