It is true.. when Qiyu become the king liqing become the minister. They didn't remarry and Qiyu also didn't marry anyone else. They were in relationship and raised a child together (Xingxu and liqing adopted son). Xingxu die tragedicaly with his country burnt and wiped out from the map. Just because Qiyu shows some regrets and gave his eyes to liqing, he become soft at the end. (Qiyu got another pair of eyes from others lmao). But Xingxu gave his life to liqing. He sacrifice his own life and everything he had for liqing but..... I cried so much of his last monologue before he died. He don't deserve this ending. Liqing and qiyu don't deserve happiness... These both donkeys can go to hell... What a shitty ending

Idk how to describe this scene from Novel. It was terrible that you could imagine. Rape until he was drench with blood. While xingxu and liqing bff (doc) stays up all night, he went to have sex with his mistress.
Next scene (seme+mistress). They fcck idk. Liqing as usual saw them in bitter. Liqing even went to see the officer to drop the mistress title (from slave title) so mistress could marry qiyu officially (concubine). Tbh he's dumb!

Liqing was brutally tortured until all his fingers distorted and he become blind. To make it more terrible, Qiyu push the hot branding stamp on his arm that make him scream in pain.

Yes. He was feeling annoying when xingxu ask to be alone with liqing for the treatment process. He was waiting outside of the room and feel irritated. His mistress came to see seme since he didn't see him that day. So mistress flirting with Qiyu by saying to reduce his uncomfortable feeling or burden or whatever it is and so yeah... They went to the bed to have sex. No actually he married 2nd ML. They raised adoptive son together. But not for long. After Loulan kingdom (2nd ML country) under attack, they split. Uke choose to follow 1st ML back to his country (bcause 1st ML use eye problem as excuses). That's when the love start to bud again fccck! While they were in lovey dovey, 2nd ML was captured and been put in the dark and cold dungeon. His limbs are all cut off. His eyes was freshly gouged. His face mutilated. They cut his nose. Oh wow... Now they cut some scenes to make us less hate on this bastard Qiyu. Actually Pei Xingxu saw how Qiyu has treated Song Liqing. He was cruel to him, humiliate him infront of ppl and intimate with his mistress in front of Liqing. Since Xingxu loved Liqing very deeply, he just can't stand how his loved one has been treated like a rubbish. So he proposed to king.
Qiyu got angry and go to his mistress. Mistress said "maybe" they were in relationship since he saw them few times together. Qiyu trust his mistress and accuse him on adultery wtf. This entire novel will show how pure, kind and devoted pei xingxu Vs how worst Qiyu. But the ending was so tragedic to pei xingxu who literally done nothing wrong. While Qiyu and liqing are happy together. If author want Qiyu to be the end game, why put pei xingxu as an angel and killed him mercilessly??? While the scum got happy ending?
