Forreal all that happened and all they have to say about her is “she’s such a shitty wife poor dude” and ml acting like he’s been deeply wronged and seems to think she needs to prove something is actually wild to me, but

Like I get she commited crimes and was really rude but lets bffr. If my country was conquered and I was sold off to one of the ppl who actively participated in that conquest, was right hand to the emperor who demanded it I'd be pissed as hell to. Even IF I did fall for my husband I'd be wracked with guilt and would avoid the hell out of him bc that man probably participated in the murder of the ppl around me?? LIKE WHY IS SHE THE BAD GUY SHES BASICALLY A PRISONER OF WAR????
