Yes, I don't remember the r*pe but I do remember the dubcon cuz I read it a long time ago. And as for the part you're saying is problematic, you said it, it's a story! It's fictional. And let me tell you just one thing, reading anything in a manga/manhua/webtoon etc. And taking it for what happens real world is problematic. I really don't know what problems people face after reading a normal yaoi (yes, you read it right, all yaoi normally have sa and mentions of sa except a few hanful and yes I've proof!) because they simply just don't need to read it unless they're just have so much time on their hands and have nothing better to do then picking fights over fictional characters! Not trying to fight here either i just want to share my opinion on this. Rape does happen in the real world so creating a story that pushes a narrative that rape isnt such a big deal and it can be moved passed as an obstacle in your relationship is very much impactful on the real world. Content that contributes to rape culture is harmful and pointing it out is not problematic. Of course, its not like BJ Alex is the most disgusting thing on the planet but small things build up to create a bigger problem. The trivialisation of sexual violence, in rape culture, due to a consistent rhetoric spread by media. This has existed for ages but you have to add fuel to a fire to keep it burning and thats what this content does. Nobody is necessarily wrong for reading it of course because we're not supporting these artists but the authors really need to do better.
