Exactly! Right? Winter never did. He was never abusive. Yes he had his priorities wrong, yes he neglected Violet, but he was never ever abusive. I don't know why some people--actually one commenter in particular--kept insisting that he beats his wife. So i asked, what story were they reading? I don't know where some people are getting that Winter was physically abusing Violet. Is there an AU of this story somewhere that we haven't seen? I get that some people hate the ML, but surely not to the point of making up your own story, believing it to be real, and then making other people believe it's true? It sounds a bit...unhinged, NGL
