Yes, my theory is similar.
I think both the day and night hyung are both "real" but just separated, so once both hyungs merge together it'll 100% be the true real hyung.
Honestly in this latest chapter that's probably the progress. Day hyung is becoming more and more aware so he's starting to take on some of night hyungs characteristics so the merge can be beginning. I know a lot of people think it's night hyung this chapter, but I think it's a mix. Guess we'll find out .
