He said that he wants to be with Jooin, which pretty much means being in Korea. He only said those hurtful things after his family got in the way of that.

All Cain wants to do is move to Korea, why would that be giving up his family and friends? His parents making a big deal out of this. Lots of kids move away when they're grown. If it's about college... maybe he can transfer or something.
