Dude him groveling and crying at the end after fl is literally at her breaking point and has gone thru a marriage where bro has never even spoken to her does not justify anything at all. Actions matter more than feelings and he gave her a horrid life even when she tried to initiate contact with him. So no until the author writes a whole redemption/explanation ark as to why he acted that way, she's completely valid in how she's treating him.
