I’ve read too many messed up stories to know that this is the mc first step of taking revenge and turning the table. Just look at his eyes there’s no way he’s doing this out of the kindest after EVERYTHING. this is just the beginning of trying to have the upper hand. there’s no better way of dealing with psychopaths than playing with their rules.
