okay i’m not one to complain about this being a toxic story (even tho it is, it’s fiction), but i srsly need to comment on your skewed view of consent… bc yours is genuinely fucked up and scary af
consent = both parties actively AGREEING they want to engage in whatever acts
it doesn’t matter if a person doesn’t say no… if they do not visibly agree or clearly say they want to engage, you DO NOT have their consent.
i’m not saying this as a critique to the story, but you have to understand technically the mc DID NOT consent to what was done to him. so please don’t claim that consent means you actively have to say no in order to not consent… that mindset is disgusting.
again, i’m commenting this bc it concerns me that your views of consent are skewed the way they are. the story is toxic yes, and i personally don’t like it yes, but opinions are different than facts. (also i read bc the art is yum and ik it’s fiction, i just hate the ML to my core and idk if he can be redeemed LMAO, but that’s another conversation)

you’re right tho- it’s undeniable proof that this IS sexual assault and rape. even if he didn’t say no, he never said YES. that’s the main thing to consider.
Guys I don’t know why this is a controversy or argument. There is quite literally undeniable proof of sexual assault and rape in Jinx, I invite you to read the story over because Dan does say “NO”. To the point he’s crying…if you cannot see that then I am genuinely concerned for you and anybody that gets in a relationship with you if you cannot recognize sexual assault or rape.
