I know this is going to sound strange but LOVE ANITA SO MUCH!!! Not only because she's pretty and I have a weakness–
But she's so genuinely villainous – evil and haunting and complex. It's actually very refreshing to see someone who threatens the MC's position, to have someone who makes you feel unsure about how the story develops and ends instead of, "oh she's a bitch, she'll disappear in no time, no biggie," like in other stories.
i wouldnt say i love her, i hate her since shes in the way of the fl, as an antagonist should. but i love how shes written, extremely and manipulatively villainous, i think i hate her so much due to the stress shes giving me but yeah

Oh yes, it's totally valid to hate Anita, I'm just personally a goody two shoes by nature (against my will) so I have an adoration towards characters who have the resolve to be a villain (and well-written).
I hate her because why tf if she ruining the lives of MC and her family when they are far away descendants. LeRain
an eye for an eye, a live for a live. the first emperor got her entire kin killed and “extinct” when he betrayed her. she’s merely returning him a favor by doing the same thing to his descendants.

Which I respect, but she’s done that in a way that waged war and kills many innocents. And of course, we don’t know what her plans were after she took down the throne, but doing it in such a drawn out way surely has left reprocutions on the millions of innocent civilians.
