so a lot of times really good stories get overlooked if like the cover art isnt captivating enough so it basically gets buried under ones that are only popular cause they have good artwork like i asked people why they liked jinx and the majority just said they liked it cause the art work was nice, not cause of the plot or anything. like my favorite bl manga is https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/dekoboko_sugar_days/ personally

I feel the same. Especially Jinx cause I also think that the author has a part to play in automatically 5staring a story that might not be as good as an previous work. Then again my standards go

exactllyy i usually dont mind art at all i just really want to read something with a good plot and great characters cause i feel those are the foundation of a good story
