U overcompensating like give it up, i wasnt even talking to u like??? im only reading this bc im already far in and want to see where this shitshow goes. The og post was making a sensible statement. Feminizing isn't good when you're just trying to make them into a girl. Atp just make a fkn hetero manga.. this is another pancake and waffle situation like?? Saying "u hate women??" who fkn said that LMAOOO. Effeminate men ≠ feminizing.
Though I don't necessarily agree with OP cuz I haven't noticed anything, Dan always just looked like a regular twink.
oh my lord stfu nobody said there is anything wrong with having feminine traits or looking effeminate. the problem is when authors write ukes with all the negative stereotypes and double standards that women are often depicted with and make their stories as heteronormative as possible. if you like heteronormative stories you do you but there's nothing wrong with people calling it out. cause in case you didn't know, heteronormativity is not a good thing.
what are you, 12?? do you even know what feminizing is?? and what point are you even making "is it hetero when the twink has a dick?" whaT "allergic to straight pairing" WHAT did you even read what I wrote. I read plenty of regular romance manga, thank you
If you're making a BL manga, but the uke straight up looks like a girl, and is tiny, skinny, and uwu (cringe), and then the top is some body builder lookin ass that towers over the uke, then atp just change the genre to regular romance like
I think they were just referring to the inconsistency of the art though I do agree it did cross my mind in chapter 33 (the art feeling different) but overall if we take a look at the author’s history (bj Alex) this sensei tends to lean towards a kind of middle(middle of twink and just like average sized dude) build on a bottom. But I also would like to highlight that it’s not unheard of and actually quite common and to some even charming when the art develops as the story does. Personally I see it as the characters and the art really coining a “look” and sometimes it’s even nice to see if stuff like their sense of style changes as well ! This might be a reach but i wanted to throw it in here as well: Ive read many a manhwa and manga in my time and it seems totally familiar to say that “yaoi hands” is a major thing that modern day readers might not remember but man that sure was an issue at some point. Homies hands were GNARLY BIG(Okane Ga nai is the best reference for this tom foolery LOL!) All this to basically say I feel you homie ! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I'm fine with girly ukes if they don't straight up look like girls. Buff men can act girly or be effeminate and ill eat that right up.
Or if the "girly" uke isn't some weak mf who can't defend themselves.
Most BL manhwas are written by straight women, so if the guy is just straight up looking like a girl,,, it don't look good, it's just heteronormativity. that's why ppl have a problem. But imo Dan looks fine, he just looks like a regular twink.
Is it just me or is the artstyle is getting worse each chapter? I think it's very noticeable in chapter 33 with how big Jaekyung's hand is in comparison to his face and how disproportionate him and heesung are. Also, Dan is getting more and more feminized as chapters pass, its extremely noticeable when you compare chapter 33 Dan with chapter 1 Dan.
