Jaekyung isn't faking anything either, tho?? He's brutally honest and rough with everyone-- including his gym/teammates. The only thing he's dishonest about are his feelings towards Kim Dan, but even then I'm p sure Jaekyung isn't fully aware of his own feelings as well.
Heesung has more of a tendency to be two-faced seeing as he literally lied about the severity of his "injury" to basically corner Kim Dan and Jaekyung into receiving "medical attention." He may shower his partners with "love and affection" but that's only if they meet his criteria and play by his rules. As soon as things get too emotionally involved or the looks expire Heesung dips and leaves his lovers to rot.
I never said JY is faking?? I was just pointing out that Heesung wasn’t faking at being nice. A lot of people were debating wether or not everything was just for show but as we saw in the bar when he saw new guys walk in, that really IS a part of his personality. He genuinely fawns over his partners but ends up growing bored and ditches them. Which is what makes him almost the opposite of JY. Which is why I think he could make a fun character, as long as he doesn’t do anything bad to Dan.
Saying they are opposites then following up with Heesung isn't fake implies that or leads someone to believe you think Jaekyung is fake lol it's misleading and leaves too much room for interpretation.
That being said, Heesung is shallow. It's why he runs through partners so quickly and easily. He's only after looks and once he's bored he ditches his partners. At least with Jaekyung it's a compatibility issue and the people he hooks up with understand they are just fuckbuddies.
I find someone who showers their "partner" with "love and affection" only to drop them entirely 'cause they got bored to be more deplorable. He's like those 50-60 yo celebrities that constantly hookup with 21 yos only to break up with them once their looks expire.
I had already completed my statement about them being opposites and was going onto say I hope he’s a reoccurring character and stated him not faking affection as one of the reasons I still think his character could be fun. But OK. Also, you find Heesungs love bombing more deplorable than JY pushing his partners to their physical limits during sex? They may understand they’re fuck buddies but that’s still not okay. I’m not saying you think that’s okay, but I don’t understand your argument saying Heesung is worse. Idk if you misunderstood my comment as being against JY, which is why you’re trying to make an argument for him but I wasn’t saying it’s bad that they’re opposites. I thought it was interesting because although Heesungs affection may SEEM better for Dan, it would be short lived. Meanwhile JY is a way more obvious red flag, but he’s gonna grow genuine long lasting affections toward Dan.
Heesung is nice to his partners and openly shows affection, but he tires of them quickly and moves on to the next one. Jaekyung most likely hasn’t had a connection with anyone else and although he treats Dan like dirt, we already know he’s grown attached. It would’ve been easy to let Heesung have his way, but JY brooded over it since they fought and this is basically throwing a tantrum and marking what’s “his.” I hope Heesung doesn’t do anything bad to Dan and is made into a reoccurring character. He may be a heartbreaker but I like that he wasn’t faking anything, we just couldn’t see the OTHER side to him
