Yeah i would like that to happen too! BUT NO CHEATING i feel like Yuri is the type of character who would cheat....i don't know i just get that feeling from him but i really hope he is not. i want things to get cleared up between them before things get worse.

I've never read a yaoi manga (longer than maybe 3 chapters) were the author didn't recur to an 'accelerator' i.e. some third guy that comes to get in between the main couple to speed up the process of them valuing each-other once again.
I get where you're coming from, that it's an overused trope, but not everything is about originality, you know. If this story was about the romance between a paperpin & a pencil living on an eraser floating in space, would it be more satisfying to you?

Plus, the author HAS used people to accelerate their realtionship before, only not just brought in a character explicitly for that reason.
His behaviour towards Jaerim shows that his judgement and actions can be very bad when he's not mentally stable but I don't think it'd go as far as cheating, he does love Jaerim after all even if he hasn't been showing it. I think in fact that what he's doing is kind of for Jaerim (I'm still against it and I do think he should share everything with him, but hear me out). Let's scratch those past two chapters. Yuri doesn't disappear and just goes to school, meets Jaerim and then everything about the new guy comes rushing to him, his head gets hella f*cked up and he starts seeing the new guy, starts throwing insults maybe hitting him, or even worse.. Would that be good ? I think it's good for him to stay away, the situation will still be bad but at least it's not the worse case scenario. I ache for Jaerim but I don't think he could handle it if it went the other way. All I can hope for is for the bullies to leave him alone and for that new look alike to maybe tell him everything seeing that he's gone as far as throwing himself in front of those delinquents for his sake...
Oh god you're so right. I hadn't thought of it that way, even though I have a lot of sympathy for what Yuri is going through. We don't even know exactly WHAT happened to him, so I think it's kinda cruel that people think him pushing Jaerim away is unjustified.
you got me all wrong What i want here is not a guy who would be romantically attached to Jearim but instead a GUY FRIEND something like Emotional support well he does have a friend the Thick Eyebrows guy but most of the time he knows nothing on what's happening to Jearim. i want at least one person he can lean on to or ask for advice don't you notice that he has none of that? Though, if the author made it that Jaerim's feelings for Yuri start to fluctuate because the new guy seems to really give him good emotional support, that's going to be pretty interesting. You're right about that but I don't think Jaerim is the kind to spill his secrets, he probably wouldn't want to trouble anyone, that sweet kid. The only reason he goes to Dunno is because he's aware of his closeness to Yuri and that he knows a lot about him. That's why I hated Dunno too for what he did, and the fact that he knows everything but just shuts Jaerim out of it all to look like the only 'hero' for Yuri is a bit messed up.. This whole thing got me pulling my own hair --

I'm actually Amazed at Jearim even if his lover was acting like an ass and he's being bullied by girls and played with by Dunno, he still cares and worries for Yuri. even though at the very beginning it was Yuri who spoke love to him i feel like in this chapter Yuri doesn't care that much about Jearim. how nice it would be if the author would actually add one person who can Jearim lean on to aside from Yuri. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
