Based on very little info provided it seems like Ritsu wasn't catfishing on the app. The author should have explained the mix up with the profiles better, but from what I can gather the MC accidentally liked both profiles "model" Ritsu and "tough" Ritsu. The MC set up the date with the "tough" Ritsu thinking he was talking to the model looking guy.
I just find it funny cause it's like 2023 lmao there's no way you'd be chatting with someone on an app and make that mistake but o well yaoi logic strikes again
