I've delved into the spoiler thread for the novel, and I must admit, I'm quite disheartened. The story had so much potential.
Personally, I dislike narratives where the main character ends up with someone who mistreats them. In this particular case, it's unsettling that the FL nearly resorted to selling the MC as a slave, and instead of remorse, she continued to bully him. Even If she regrets her past later - she should just fuckin apologize. Don't be a fuckin bitch about it. She's not 10 anymore. That's why I despise her so much, redemption arc or not, she fucked up for not apologizing asap. Instead of apologizing, she continues to bully him...I'm grateful for the spoilers because they've made it clear that this novel isn't to my taste (￣∇￣")
