I agree! It started off with such dark backstory and had so much potential but it seems like the author is now making it a romcom/slice of life with no progress... it sucks cuz I really like this webtoon too
The romcom scenes is actually in the novel. There's more in the story, the chapters was just short.
I feel like the comic is trying to follow the novel beat by beat, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but since chapters are short and releases are a bit sparse, it feels like they’re just filler chapters. I’m guess this comic is better enjoyed in one sitting than chapter by chapter because Like this, it’s kinda boring, even when the overall story is good.
Ohhh I haven't read the novel so I didn't know. I'm glad it's actually following the novel though. I did notice that the chapters were kinda short. I guess I'll just have to wait

Sorry, haven’t actually read the novel, it’s just a theory I came up with seeing as how the chapters seem to be wanting to tell the bigger story in small doses. Anyway, you can find the links to the novel on novelupdates. It’s the same name as the comic.
I can understand a long wait with pretty art but close to nothing happens in these chapters T_T
