the concept of having the ability to hear peoples' thoughts and having control over when is pretty well done here, n it addresses how you sorta would lose motivation and meaning in your life and sense of self over time because you're always bombarded with people's unspoken expectations and opinions. also i appreciate that the mc can actually stand up for himself
