Nah bestie, I think it's because of covid that everything turned incredibly depressing and dark. A lot of psychological are very explicit and fuqed up. Honestly I feel you, like I'm sick of characters getting abused and manipulated. It ain't ever light, like rape became such a popular trope as well as physical abuse. I'm scared to read anything rn tbf.

I used to love reading psychological manga... But lately, I can't even look at my manga with the tag psychology... If I just see a 'p' on my manga or book, I outta there. I know I'm somewhat of an empath, so I probably broke the part of myself that could endure all that. Maybe I'm just weird
