On mangago if something doesnt have a romance tag but has a yaoi tag its likely theres just sexual scenes but no romance. Example: Killing Stalking.

Very true, ATWR kind of feels like a psychological thriller drama too but definetly to a lesser degree. I think killing stalking caused confusion because of the main characters obsession and the sexual violence that seemed intimate, the same could be said about this. Though the stories are very different, it just seems like these audiences all equate obession and abuse to romance. It feels somewhat concerning haha.

Gonna jump in and mention this: the tags on mangago are not that accurate. There are plenty of mangas that miss the romance tag but the main pairing gets together. In the end, it being romantic is sometimes subjective, just leave it at that and move on guys lol
