Woah... this review is so helpful, thank you very much for sharing!! I came for the romance but the rest of the story sounds very interesting. Its a shame that the FL's revenge is brushed aside tho, I was noticing that she talked a lot about how she's closer to the crown prince to kill him but the plan is all over the place I think (or maybe its the translation giving me trouble?) Also I hate that Dietrich had to die i would also be super angry, it was her brother!!!

I already know a lot of people are going to be all upset about the ML's life in the first timeline (he fathered the Crown Princess' kids) and his methods in the second (seducing the Crown Princess into killing the Crown Prince). But the reviewer says that the FL was frustrating about this because she never really had any real plans for getting the revenge she was so obsessed about. She spends years angry at the couple but doesn't really do anything to get back at them. There is a reason why the cover of the manhwa has the ML only; a huge focus is more on what he does. In a way he's more of the MC than the FL.
Revenge isn't really the whole point of the story either: the drama with the royal family (aka the main antagonists) all get resolved by Volume 2. There's a lot more story after that deals with the fallout of the FL finding out the truth about the ML.
This story is more of an in-depth psychological look at two very flawed characters and their love story. The ML is not only very strong and skilled in fighting, he's also a master schemer. Since he's also a returner, he already knew who she was when they first met so he wasn't the clueless child she thought him to be. He also saw Dietrich, the FL's childhood friend who is like family to her, as his main obstacle with the FL so he let him (seemingly) die. But she isn't the most mature character either. The reviewer says she spends too long angry at the ML and wasn't very good to their eldest child for a long time since he looks like the ML.
