Same here.
I mean , for a lot of us readers, English is not our first language. So this type of old English with difficult words/level on top gets even harder to understand the story.
I really like this story and want to understand everything but this old English is whats getting in the way most of the time. And also, its difficult and time consuming to translate so many words every chapter to understand what's being said. I personally find Painter of the Night's level of old English's use in the dialogue to be comparatively more reader friendly.
Honestly speaking, i understood 30% of what new ch 40 was about or what was said/ discussed in it and came to comment section to comment in frustration. u.u
Took so long to finish reading this chapter... Gotta understand the diplomatic stuffs or else will end up plotless... Still doesn't understand tho
