My gosh almost everyone is getting the wrong idea, nobody died alright. In the underwater scene, you see the last panel where there was a thought bubble that says 'its nice to see you again" which implies that jooha got his memories back, as well as judging by the look on their faces when dooshik came to save jooha. And why does everyone forget the fact that these two went through all that hellish sh*t and survived through absolute thick and thin, y'all think something like that would kill them?? I think tf not. Therefore lets celebrate (ﾉ≧∇≦)ﾉ ﾐ ┻━┻
