I didn’t find it boring per se, but was annoyed at the main character being mum about stuff when the other guy kept asking. I get wanting to keep things private, but when you come looking for someone you ghosted after 7 years, wanting answers is only natural. The lack of answers annoyed me, so I stopped reading.
I totally get it and feel pretty similar!! It was just so frustrating!!
