Not really.
Her real life sucks big time. It's not a mary Sue dream, it's her likely being swayed back and forth between two worlds since her life in one world is wiggling between over and barely functioning.
That's precisely how this genre works btw: You need to be unalive in one world to be transferred to the other. And if your real self is on the brink of it, you can sway back and forth a bit.
It's different from dreaming, as this transmigration is VERY much real. Think of it like teleporting, but paired with shifting appearance and realms too. Naturally she would care more for the fantastical world if the real world she was from is filled with literal shit for her.
The mother likely wants her to doe so she doesn't have to pretend to care anymore. This is a very common trope for asian abusive families: Taking care of an unwanted child demands you act like you are happy (honor for the family and all that bullshit) but if they see a chance to get rid of them, they'll show their true colours and even tell the kid straight to their face to die so they aren't an annoyance anymore.
Even asian dramas display this trope (which is rooted in reality btw) tho comics usually display it much more severely to crank up the drama.

This newest chapter feels off. The plot twist is really cool!!…..but it kinda ruins everything else for me? Like, if she’s just having some Mary Sue dream then what’s the point of caring about any of it? It’s not real, right?
Also, side note, is bio mother TRYING TO SELL HER BODY PARTS!?!? WTF!?
