Just shows how young you are. You should have seen Captain Tsubasa anime, now that's long... football fields that make almost 10 km, 1 hour games that took a week to unroll... God I miss those days...
You know, I'm not ~exactly~ young. Animes usually are like that to save screen time and money. Mangas usually are faster. There's no reason to keep going on like that
