I'm not sure if this will meet your expectations fully... but here

If you are into BL novels, my favorite one that features puppy play (is also incest between brothers) is called Almost Strangers https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/39326853-almost-strangers which you can either buy online here https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/1087778 or read at https://www.epub.pub/book/almost-strangers-by-m-a-innes-r-phoenix
Reading that book is...intense. The descriptions of puppy play are so much better than any of the webtoons or manga I've seen which have portrayed that kink in a kind of glossed over manner.
oh, I just started a new one about pet play that's set in college between 2 students... by the same author, so it should be smokin hot! https://www.epub.pub/book/untouched-by-m-a-innes
Before I got into yaoi webcomics (the Western kind), webtoons and manga, I read hundreds of BL novels by Western authors. The Captive Prince series by C.S. Pacat is one of the best BL gems I can rec just off the top of my head. It's romantic, has smut, misunderstandings, drama, and some of the best writing I've read in any genre.
If you're interested in some Western BL (not found on novelupdates, which you can search for Asian novel translations by tag and genre), I would recommend heading to the Goodreads website, where you can do something similar to a tag search here on mangago (which btw is useful, just go to https://www.mangago.zone/tag/ and enter a search term to find your fave reading trope/topic). Goodreads is a member's only (free to create an account) book review site where you can catalog your reading history, which features mostly Western books of all genres, but also has some Asian webnovels and literature listed. On the Goodreads main page, click on Browse, then scroll to All Genres, on the right side of the page under the Browse headings, click on More Genres and it takes you to a page called Shelves, where they list all the reader-generated tags on book reviews. You can search for MM (meaning gay romance between 2 men), MMM (gay, 3 men), MMF (menage, a romance centered on a woman and her 2 male lovers), or something like a particular type of kink like puppy play, bdsm, sadomasichism, or whatever suits your fancy! If you have trouble finding the page I mentioned, the direct link to bookmark is https://www.goodreads.com/genres/list
The main reason I use Goodreads is that there are many BL novels published all the time, but most of them have shitty writing or a plot without creativity. Also, if you don't like to read about sensitive topics like rape, past sexual trauma, betrayal by friends or something, death of family member characters, etc, you can screen out books which may trigger your or make you feel uncomfortable. You can also do that on novelupdates, which I usually do by crossing out the entire tragedy genre or excluding certain tags like Betrayal (which always bothers me lol). Hope you find this advice useful!
Omg thank you so much, you're probably the most helpful person I've ever met on this site T-T
I finished reading Almost Strangers and although I didn't particularly like the whole brother thing, the novel in general was just amazing and I'm so happy to have read it. Novels are definitely something I'll give a try (and probably get hooked in) and it's all thanks to you, so thank you so so so much <333
The same author wrote several other puppy play or kink BL books which don't have incest. I know that topic is off limits for most people, but it doesn't bother me because I know it's only fiction! Western novels are not as limited by censorship for smut and taboo issues that Asian novels are. So many fujoshis/fudanshis find them very interesting due to the high level of spice~ But I often prefer Asian webnovels because they are usually longer (the fun lasts longer!), the plot development/world building is better due to the book length, the romance is often more slow-burn and more believable instead of insta-romance, and Asian authors are more fond of family/ex-gf/social barrier conflicts and thrive off melodrama. There's a whole host of tropes you don't often find in Western novels like - fake young master/real young master, transmigration into a novel and steal the ML/gong/seme from the FL or original shou/uke, and other ridiculous cliches that are sometimes written beautifully (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Something similar to Puppy Love, meaning:
- Good art style (nothing from the "90's" please if yk what I mean T-T)
- Smut aka no Shonen AI pls
- Focuses on pet play, master/pet bdsm or smth of the sort
Thank you!!! (ノ≧∇≦)ノ
