idk i think i understand the grandpa maybe cuz im from a strict family too like you having a great daughter stronger than everyone and stuff and have great potential but then she break her core and just dip with a random guy even the mc said she was selfish cuz she choose her happiness over the family name so the tsundere grandpa is still angry at her even tho he loves her like id do the same like thats a cute son you got there but mame you're still grounded
actually, if you pay attention, before the patriarch gets the report that she destroyed her core and ran away, he receives one where they say she's being ostracized by the rest of the family and he knowingly ignored that. Now, I don't really care for him but OPs reaction is understandable lol
I was really looking forward to reading this manga but the blatant abuse and lack of compassion for the mom just ruined it for me. The grandpa is such an abusive AH, and don't even get me started on the rest of the family. They're all a bunch of jerks who treat the mom like dirt
It's so frustrating to see her stuck there with no way out. The mom has been forced to stay there for her son, and she's been treated horribly by everyone. Even the grandpa, who acts like "oh wow I'm cold and ruthless but is actually a softie" nah idgaf shut the fuck up smh, don't even try to pull a GARP from one piece type of beat shit, he's a piece of shit too.
I hope that eventually, the mom kicks everyone's ass and takes the spotlight in the series. She's the real MVP. I hope the author doesn't go too easy on the grandpa and make him into some "misunderstood tsundere." He's just a jerk. I hope he dies early in the series. The mom is way more interesting, and she should be the MC.
