I heard somewhere that the author was getting harassed on social media is that true??? that is honestly outright disgusting how people will go to such extents to hurt real life persons over some non-existent characters :(

Yes, ppl who hate Yahwi always find a way to excuse their behaviour & harass the author. Just cause Cain ain't getting the spotlight, they have to stoop lower and lower just like how Yahwi treated Jooin in the past. It's ironic, they complain about Yahwi being terrible, yet they sending death threats TO A REAL HUMAN BEING...

Why are you pointing only at cain stans though as if they're the only one's who have sent death threats to the author. Both of the fandom are both worse than the other depends on the app or site that you're in. Some yahwi stans literally does the same hate thing whenever cain has the spotlight on twt ://. Take last year as an example ppl were mad when cain got the spotlight bcs jooin and cain had sex.

I agree that it's both but I'm talking about the current state of things. Since the story is not in Cain's favour, there's more hate coming from them.
