Having a mistress so Elyse chooses to divorce him is basically his last recourse. If he’s cheated and he asks for a divorce, she wouldn’t have her request denied. Yeah, honestly I’m not judging the guy until we see the flashback from his point of view. The fact that she believes he didn’t love her and yet he keeps dreaming about their past like that makes her account of the story sound off.

To begin with ML is the worst of them all cause he’s the cheater (even if the Elysee don’t care about it) and the one who brought FL into his messy life just to get a piece of damn paper… Instead of explaining the situation to her he just enjoyed to lead her to a misunderstanding and she died because of that in the end

After, there’s Elysee ! She drove her husband to madness and was a beach* to everyone pretending to be an angel. It probably would have been her way to pursue her goal and planning her life so she could survive in that kinda world ! But that don’t give her an excuse to abuse people like she does ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ And frankly speaking if this was on her POV we would’ve been on her side, since it’s FL POV we think she’s the villainess but truth is they’re all wicked !
The more pitiful one is the FL yes ! She was a victim from the couple fight yes….However let’s be clear she was the one choosing that path ! She’s also a culprit since she knew he was married and still wanted to be his mistress. I know love is blind but not to the extent where you’ll take someone else’s husband and be happy about that : “Omg he gave me presents, I knew he loved me, ulala!” No gurl he’s a cheater, he doesn’t love he cheats ! You don’t have power, you’re a commoner entering high society life and Elysee’s at the top of that society, of course you’ll be in danger. The moment you knew he was engaged you should have run. It hurts yes but your life’s a priority !
