Lol same. When I was reading the novel, I'm so irritated by everything that's happening because the book is trying to pull it's original plot. It's like we're all in Edith's shoes where we can't easily over power the author. I'm about to drop it, honestly, but seeing certain characters diverting from their original design of that novel, I'm getting curious and just kept on going.
Honestly, happy that I finished it. I'm so satisfied esp with Killeon's character.
Linon maybe an ML material but nah he doesn't have to. The fact that he isn't the 2nd ML too is what I liked the most.. Imagine you don't have to be a love interest of the FL just to say you care and see them as the very person.

Big spoiler below so be warned I guess
I read somewhere that the author has actually possessed Reeze, and she’s been going through the same storyline for a long while. But she then got bored and started dragging in other souls and put them in Edith’s body. They all couldn’t break free from the author’s powers and died tragically. The author/reeze even put up “impossible” conditions to remove the author’s authority, thinking no one would be able to do it.
Anyway, that’s why Reese is such a good actress, since she’s been doing the same scenarios for a long time and she’s an absolutely evil psycho.
I feel bad for all the other souls that had to play Edith before mc
If I hadn't been aware that Killeon is under a spell I would have dropped this by now because he would be a terrible ML - Power of Spoilers have made me not give up on this yet
