I think you misread. The side top i.e. original Jaewoo never laid actual hands on Hyeonjin, but would taunt him to pay his late rent by using his body (which is still very bad). This ends up in Mujin killing the original top for constantly tormenting Hyeonjin like this. But to be very clear original Jaewoo never raped Hyeonjin, his crimes were eyeing him in a predatory way and taunting him to pay his rent using his body.
Anyway I think you should revise your expectations a little, this is meant to be a meta BL manhwa that addresses BL tropes. I mean reincarnated Jaewoo even gets strangled Mujin and he still dumbly helps Mujin.

"even demanding he pay with his body" ch 1 "those disgusting eyes that he undresses me with" ch 2 and ch 4 him literally laughing as the bottom is crying and upset because " can only come up with the cutest insults ever" followed by cat ears and just absolutely disregarding his fears. along with this, the CONSTANTLY bringing up "will you ask for my body". I can definitely see the possibility that i misunderstood youre right however it still makes me uncomfortable as its not that much better if the bottom never gave in... theres STILL the power dynamic, the sexual harassment and the brushing past issues. i know BL are usually like this dont get me wrong, thats why i said its probably because im not desensitized to weird stories like this but i want to be able to speak my mind because i dont like the glorifying or causality of the abusive dynamic oh wait new guy nvm forget it all it never happened <3 i apologise but i just do not feel comfortable with stories like these. i can say though i may have misinterpreted the sexual harassment however it IS still sexual harassment.

anyway im not trying to come at anyone its just how I personally feel as someone who isnt use to seeing sexual harassment or abusive relationships in manga. i do know its common in BL but i personally believe thats an issue. its also seen in hetero straight manga as well and just like with this one, i word my concerns with them.

When I read you complaints, I wondered if I had missed something when I read it the first time. So I read it again, and I still don't understand what your mean with your comment.
First, the current Jaewoo hates that he became the lousy sidetop. He mentions that all the time. He wants to help Hyeonjin in anyway he can, because he genuinely feel bad for him. That's why he makes all the food, try to take care of all the housework, wants to pay of the debt. He even agrees to work for Mujin, even though he really doesn't want to have anything to do with the guy that is supposed to kill him. He's a great guy. He doesn't do anything to hurt Hyeonji.
So I don't understand what you have against the current Jaewoon, he hasn't done anything wrong.

maybe its because im not into BL so im not desensitized to sexual crimes but this dudes introduction was that his character basically raped the bottom when he couldnt pay rent... and now theyre meant to be in a relationship...? no matter what happens whoever takes over the tops body or what if something like that happened theres complex trauma and a power dynamic involved it is not ethical or safe for them to be in a relationship... there needs to be THERAPY... i just feel so uncomfy with them brushing past that?????
