Stepbro/Forest demon was so sweet this chapter? He's been nothing but sketchy and weird up till now but I guess because MC remembers making the wish he's being nice?
I'm confused about the Dad though now. Who was the Dad at the beginning if he was abandoned when he was little? Or did the Dad come back, and now has gone AWOL again.
It's interesting how the (I don't what to call it...?) Stepbro? influences ppl.
I got the feeling that there was SOME supernatural aspect in this, but I didn't expect THAT!!! Now, I'm invested.
