I believe the only one who truly cared about Ashtarte family-wise was Noah. After reading this and understanding how each character worked, Noah, before everyone else in the palace, knew she was good and tried in his own way, to take care of her. Ashtarte just so happened to hear him say something that he didn't really mean and misunderstood him all this time. You can see his genuine pained reaction when he didn't get a chance to explain. Now, I understand why Ashtarte reacted the way she did, however Noah could have been her ally and on her side from the start, a family member to love and cherish her without question. I hope those two can truly be closer. I'm still iffy about the oldest brother and father.
Glad I wasn't the only one. I feel bad for Noah. I can see he wanted to get close to her and baby her, but she is rightfully so done with her family, it's hard to break her walls down which is understandable.
