I agree. Makoto has awaken a demon god, he has to end it. But he succumbs himself to this friendship crap. His logic is forced to hibernate and he overworks his emotion.

Makoto has to stop talking, just annihilate all Yuuki's minions and take Yuuki on and be done with it. Philosophizing is shit here, because Yuuki justifies what he does. So, Makoto can just say, "Fine, my reason is you're a dirtbag god-complex freak who needs to die. End of discussion."
Makoto should have dealt with Yuuki ages ago, and it's his fault all those people are dead--bothhis minions and the non-minions. Yuuki is just a jerk. Makoto is just a wimp. It's not rational, and it's all emotional. No matter who has the power, they abuse it. That's reality.
