I won’t read the low rate ones unless the art is really good, but sometimes even the art can’t make me read those. There are so many better stories available I don’t think it’s possible for me to run out tbh, just try reading a different genre. And if I ‘m too lazy to find a good one then I’ll take a break and read fanfic for a few weeks.
I mean I don't get too far into the bad ratings dump but I'm talking like an 8.8 type bad becauseon this site thats saying something . But nah believe it or not I've been reading Manga/Manhwa for a decade so across all genres it's hard to not to find the same old contrived nonsense whether it shoujo or shounen nonsense. Unfortunately haven't been a fanfic fan since was like 13, but I appreciate the reply nonetheless
I think that instead of lacking, the good stuff is drown into a vast majority of mid/kinda bad stories, so it's very hard to find them
That's kinda true, plus I've noticed really good stories are either really short or don't get updated for years either for hiatus or lack of scanlators. Can't we jut make Manga great again I feel like there was a time period where there was just back to back bangers being published, or maybe it's just nostalgia goggles
You right that 8.8 is still low rate, it actually means it’s probably a 6.5 or something lol. I also been reading over a decade but there is still a lot I haven’t read. I am willing to read similar stuff though. I honestly do recommend reading original fanfic. It’s kinda like reading a light novel since it’s original and not fandom bs. And you definitely not lying about the back to back bangers of the past. I literally miss those days.

Is anyone else getting to the point where they look at a low rated Manga on here and go "hmmm might give it a try" because they feel like they've run of good stuff to read and everything else is on hiatus ??
