Or you're reading into it to deep. You're the one who is being really fucking rude by not realizing that sexuality is fluid. He literally never said he was straight. He said he wasn't gay. And maybe he's not. Some people don't care about gender because it's the person that they're attracted to
I am sorry you took it that way as it wasnt my intention at all to say sexuality isnt fluid. However, I said what I said. A lot of these authors overuse this trope in order to make their main leads more appealing to their target audience, straight women. For me, it is a dealbreaker when something like this is thrown in and then has absolutely zero plot relevance as in this particular manhwa. I just wish these authors would not be so scared of the word bisexual or pansexual and give us soms actual good queer representation.
It's fiction honey. We can distinguish between fiction and reality so you don't have to worry about unrealistic portrayal of gay Or bi people in "fictional" comics
I wish it had said the typical “im straight but ur an exception” line earlier so I could have dropped this without wasting a few hours of my life I hope these authors finally realize how toxic and invalidating that kind of line is to actual gay and bi people. Its such a big turn off and just shows that the author is fetishizing mlm relationships. Shame on them.
