I feel like the king that's been obsessing over Taehyuk is just an adopted brother or smth(?) But all in all, Taehyuk is basically Hyowoon's mate. Plus, the dragon whom Taehyuk found in the mountain clearly told him that the reason why Hyowoon's condition is like that is because it's probably part of the process of him regaining his old memories after a deep slumber.
